Get Your Flirt On

Event description

Brought to you in collaboration with Connection Feast:

🔥 Flirting feels fun when you know how to play with your energy and bring a little spark into your everyday social interactions.

Get Your Flirt On is a lively social experience in Seattle for people who want flirting to feel lighter, easier, and more true to who they are.

😍 Join us to learn, practice, and explore spicy social skills that can make your interactions (and life!) feel more fun, engaging, and yes, flirty!

This event is a space to explore, learn, play, and feel supported.

You’ll explore:

  • What flirting can look like (and try out a few styles)

  • How to read other people's cues

  • How to demonstrate interest in a way that feels genuine to you

  • How to be brave!

💟Through guided activities, you’ll explore how to add more “sprinkles of flirt” into your social interactions, and best of all, explore bringing forward the version of you that feels open, playful, and connected.

😜This is not a dating event, (but if you meet someone, great!). This is an expertly facilitated and designed event to help you gain confidence with your flirting social skills in a fun, exploratory, consensual, and no-pressure environment.

Who this is for:

People of all genders & orientations who want to bring more ease, playfulness, and flirting into their everyday life! This event is for 21+

Resist to Exist: Palestinian Life Under Occupation

Resist to Exist: Palestinian Life Under Occupation

Hear from two Palestinian activists from the West Bank (Palestine) about their daily experiences living under occupation. The two speakers live in a Palestinian village located in Masafer Yatta, or the South Hebron Hills. These villages face daily violence and intimidation from neighboring settlers, the Israeli police and military, and the constant threat of home demolitions and displacement.

These activists - who are also fathers, husbands, teachers, and artists - have dedicated their lives to documenting the human rights violations by Israeli occupation forces and settlers in their home village and across their community. They are on a national speaking tour and visiting Seattle for the first time.

NOTE: Because actions of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement are unpredictable and aggressive at present, there is always uncertainty that even those who have been granted visas will be allowed to enter and travel freely. We are requesting registration so that we have contact information for those planning to attend in case our guests are detained and/or turned away.

Sponsored by UUC’s Social Justice Steering Committee and UUJME (Unitarian Universalists for Justice in the Middle East).
